YouLikeHits server issues

After TweetAttacks Pro was closed by Twitter lawyers, now another bad news come for Social Media experts: YouLikeHits website is down due some serious server issues.

In this case wasn’t any suit from Facebook or Twitter, just a rookie server tech make a big mess. YouLikeHits send this announce about incident:

Our database was destroyed recently by a server tech at our hosting company. We’re currently investigating what our options are and how much data we can bring back. We may end up having to take them to court over this. YouLikeHits will be back within the next couple of days but you may need to resignup.

After few hours they come with a sad info:

We are currently attempting to repair a corrupt database backup. If we’re successful then YouLikeHits will be back to the way it was before without any issues. If we’re unsuccessful then we will require everyone to resign up again to YouLikeHits. We will give some free points to everyone and re-add points that were purchased if necessary.

And today YouLikeHits declare on their Facebook page:

We were not able to repair the corrupt database ourselves but we are now sending it over to a company that specializes in this sort of thing. We’ll keep you updated when we know more.

Some people complains about thousands and thousands of lost points and at least I hope others will be able to learn how important backups are.

YLH was a very good site but loosing its database is bad practice. Where is the backups? They say they had backups but they are corrupt! They also say there host deleted there database! They say there host claims the backups are corrupt because of the site being busy!

Come on what host do they have. I would be straight to lawsuit please for negligence on there half.

Try this one followlike They don’t make you assign coins and the like function actually works
